U7B Wildcats Division
“Intro to Hockey” division focuses on basic skill development in a fun environment
- 2-3 teams share the ice for practices and games
- Development model encourages skill groups within each team, which are combined with similar skilled groups from other teams sharing the ice to participate in drills together
- Typically 2 hours of ice time each week (weekends) – practices with short scrimmage to finish; 1-2 designated game days per month
- Wildcats team participates in the co-ed city league – female players will build friendships within their Wildcats team and still participate in drills and games against similar skill level players from the co-ed teams
