U9B Wildcats Division
“Intro to Hockey” division focuses on fun and challenges players to expand their skill development and learn more about the game of hockey.
- 2 teams share the ice – practice with their team; Designated game days against the opponent
- Games are played on half-ice surface (Hockey Canada development model) – teams typically group players by skill level for games,allowing players to compete with and against similar skilled players
- Typically 2-3 hours of ice time each week (primarily weekends with periodic weekday ice times)
- Wildcats team participates in the U9B co-ed city league and will play games against co-ed teams
