Medicine Hat Minor Hockey Association Appoints Nathan Crosby as General Manager
MEDICINE HAT, AB — The Medicine Hat Minor Hockey Association (MHMHA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Nathan Crosby as its new General Manager, effective for the 2026–27 season.
Crosby joins MHMHA following nine seasons with the Brooks Bandits organization, most recently serving as Business Manager. Since joining the Bandits in 2017, Crosby held senior leadership roles overseeing business operations, marketing, sponsorship sales, financial planning, staff management, game-day operations, public relations, and league and board relations. He also served as the team’s play-by-play announcer, calling more than 600 games during his tenure.
During Crosby’s time with the Bandits, the club captured multiple championships, including AJHL and National titles in 2019, 2022, and 2023. Following the team’s transition to the BCHL, the Bandits won an Alberta Championship, the Rocky Mountain Challenge, and made history in 2025 as the first Alberta-based team to win the Fred Page Cup as BCHL champions.
“I’m honored to be named the General Manager of the Medicine Hat Minor Hockey Association,” said Crosby. “Throughout the interview process, it was clear this role is an excellent fit. I’m excited to work with our players, families, coaches, and Board of Directors as we move into the 2026–27 season.”
Additional highlights of Crosby’s career include chairing the successful bid to host the 2021 AJHL Showcase in Brooks and representing the Bandits internationally at the 2023 U20 Super Challenge in Sweden.
Originally from Didsbury, Alberta, Crosby brings 13 years of junior hockey experience across the AJHL and BCHL, including four seasons as a broadcaster with the Drumheller Dragons prior to joining the Bandits.
Crosby will complete the 2026 playoff run with the Brooks Bandits before officially assuming his role with MHMHA in June 2026.
