Dear Association Members,

We are thrilled to announce the launch of our highly anticipated 2023-2024 scholarship program. This initiative aims to support and empower our members in their academic pursuits, providing financial assistance to deserving individuals within our community.

Please find attached, the instructions for the scholarship program as well as the application form. On the instructions you will find vital information such as the application process and eligibility.

Once the application is complete, please send the application form and your personal letter to [email protected] or drop off in person at the Medicine Hat Minor Hockey Office.

The due date for the scholarship application is June 15th, 2024.

2026 U17 AAA Spring ID Camp

U17 AAA SPRING ID CAMP APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN. Applications are now open for players aiming to compete at the U17 AAA level.
Application Deadline: April 4th
Camp Dates: April 24th- April 26th
Location: Hockey Hounds Arena
The U17 AAA coaching staff will review all applications and select players who will be invited to attend. Unfortunately, due to ice constraints, this will be a closed camp meaning it will be invite only as we do not have the ice to accept everyone.

The Medicine Hat Minor Hockey Association (MHMHA) Annual General Meeting will take place on April 29, 2026, at 6:00 PM in the Hounds Social Room.

The following board positions are up for re-election:

  • City Support Director
  • Elite Hockey Director (to have names stand at AGM)
  • City Director (to have names stand at AGM)

If you are interested in having your name stand for any of these positions, please email [email protected] by April 15, 2026.

Additionally, MHMHA Summer Camps are now available. Details can be found on our Facebook page and website.

2026 MHMHA Summer Camps

MHMHA Summer Camps Are Now Open for Registration!
The AAA SET Development Camp will be available shortly- this will be a separate registration link, so stay tuned for that announcement. AAA Development Camp will run Aug 10- Aug 14. (not included in below link)
Our Spring ID AAA SET Camps invitations will also be sent out soon to players who have applied and been selected by our coaches.

U15 AAA Spring ID Camp

U15 AAA SPRING ID CAMP – APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN
We are excited to open applications for the U15 AAA Spring ID Camp. Due to limited ice availability, we are unable to accept all registrations, meaning this ID Camp will be invite-only. All applications will be reviewed by the U15 AAA coaching staff, who will determine which players are invited to attend.
📍 Dates: April 17 – 19
📍 Location: Hounds
🗓 Application Deadline: March 30th
Players who are invited will receive a registration link to secure their spot. Once received, you will have 24 hours to register. If the spot is not secured within that time, the link will be offered to the next player in line.
Please Note:
Only apply if you are genuinely interested in playing on the U15 AAA team. This Spring ID Camp will serve as part of the official evaluation process.

All applications will be reviewed by the coaches of the 2026–2027 U13 AAA team, and they will determine which players are invited to attend.
📍 DATES: May 1st- 3rd
🗓 APPLICATION DEADLINE: April 1st
Players who are invited will receive a registration link to secure their spot. Once received, you will have 24 hours to register. If the spot is not secured within 24 hours, the link will be sent to the next player in line.
