U9A Golden Knights vs. U16 CAHL Hounds

Thank you to the U16 CAHL Hounds, who came and played a fun game against the U9A Golden Knights on Saturday.
The best part was, the Golden Knights thought they had a game against another U9 team, and then the U16 came onto the ice and the look on their faces was priceless.
It was a great morning, and we are so thankful to the Hounds for waking up early, and spending time with our U9 team.
Later that afternoon, some of the U9’s came out to watch the U16’s face off and defeat Lethbridge 7-5!!

U15T2 Hounds – cereal drive

Thank you to our U15 T2 Hounds and Strathmore T2 for collecting cereal for the Big Brothers and Big Sisters cereal drive in support of the Root Cellar this past weekend. Way to go, teams! 👏

Goalie Program 2024-2025

MHMHA , along with Matt Weininger and Matt Wong,  will once again be offering the Medicine Hat Weekly Goalie Skills Program for the 2024-2025 Season.  This program gives goaltenders the opportunity to receive specialized instruction throughout the season from elite level coaches.

Goaltenders will receive specialized goalie sessions throughout the season focusing on skating skills, puck tracking, save execution and reads. Goaltenders will also get the opportunity to learn from two WHL goalie coaches as well as Medicine Hat Tigers goaltenders.

 

U9, U11 and U13 Goalies:

 

Cost/participant =  $400 ($40/session) 10 sessions, up to 18 participants.

Instructors:

Matt Weninger – Matt is currently the Manager of Elite Hockey and Goaltender Development with Hockey Alberta. Matt is also the Goalie Coach for the Moose Jaw Warriors of the WHL.

Matt Wong – Matt is currently the Goalie Coach for the Medicine Hat Tigers.

 

 All costs are final no refunds will be given. Signup is for the whole camp and not session by session.
