U13 Whalers – Silver Medal winners

The U13 Whalers took home a silver medal in the Rowan Beckie Memorial Tournament last weekend in Taber. They lost to Maple Creek in an epic final game which went to OT and a shootout. This tournament was put on in memory of a young hockey player who tragically lost his life in February 2023. The team was commended for their respectful and positive attitudes shown by the players, coaches and parents. This embodied what the vision was for this tournament to honour this young player.

U13 Whalers – Halloween

The U13 Whalers got into the Halloween spirit with some great team building this week. Started off with a Halloween themed home game, where coaches and team parents dressed up, played Halloween music and handed out candy in the stands! Players were coached by Deadpool, Wolverine, Elvis and even Grandma!
They had some post practice pizza from the Head Coach, homemade candy apples from parents, and headed out to the Haunted Greenhouse with their siblings in tow to get their scare on!
