Our U18AA Hounds is hosting a ‘Hounds Fight Cancer’ hockey game, in aid of raising awareness and inspiring hope, and courage, for those who are living with, going through, and moving past cancer. With all proceeds from the event being donated to the Clarke family, who are currently going through their own battle with cancer.
Patty Clarke is a local hard-working and dedicated family-oriented man, who has devoted every day to supporting his wife, 2 children, and the local community. At only 47 years old, Patty has been diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer, an illness that has forced him out of work, with the inability to provide for his family as he previously did. Add to that the medical expenses involved for ongoing medical treatment, it is placing a financial strain on a family. An unnecessary worry that our team hope to assist with, raising much needed funds to help support and make life more comfortable for the Clarke family during this difficult time.
Event to take place during our home fixture on 09 Dec 2023 at 1:15PM, as the team entertain a visiting Northwest Calgary AA Stamps team.

Congratulations to the U11B Purple Wildcats . They had a great time this past weekend at the Calgary Sizzle Stick tournament where they took home silver 🎉
The U11A Canucks were on the road in Fernie B.C this past weekend. While they did not come away with any hardware, the team received many accolades from the tournament for how they represented our association with positivity and sportsmanship from the players, coaches and parents. Thank you for representing the MHMHA with class! A true testament that the love of the game is what truly bring families and teams together. Way to go, Canucks!

On Sunday, November 19 the U17 AAA SEAC Tigers hosted their annual cancer fundraiser game. The team honoured and recognized people who fought, are fighting, or have won the battle against cancer. Through selling caramel popcorn made by the team, 50/50, a silent auction, game-worn jersey auction, and donations they raised $6430.35. 100 percent of the profits will be donated to the Margery E Yuill Cancer Centre. These funds will be used to transport local patients for treatments that are not offered in our city. It takes a community to fight this battle.
