INTRODUCTION
The Medicine Hat Minor Hockey Association (foreword referred to as MHMHA) manual has been developed to assist the Leaders, Volunteers and Participants of the Association in understanding the Objectives, Philosophies, Operation, Expectations and Opportunities for involvement in the Association. This manual includes documents, policies and procedures, handbooks, and guidelines that clearly state what we believe, how we intend to operate and what we expect of our participants and volunteers.
The MHMHA recognizes it will be necessary from time to time to change or add to the policy and procedure manual as defined in the bylaws of the association.
A copy of these Guidelines will be available online for all members. It is the responsibility of the member to be aware of Association Bylaws, Policies and Guidelines.
Rules Prevail
For any conflict between these documents and Hockey Alberta documents, Hockey Alberta’s documents will prevail.
As long as such amendments do not conflict in way of being lesser than Hockey Canada’s “Official Playing Rules”, Hockey Alberta’s “Bylaws and Regulations”, and the specific Regulations for any Leagues
in which the Association’s teams are participating
